Keshi Dedicates Award

Super Eagles head coach has dedicated his GLO/CAF Coach Of The Year Awards to his team and crew for their support and contribution since he got into office.

The 51-year old gaffer helped the Eagles claim their third AFCON title after nineteen years in South Africa defeating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final of the championship, and also becoming the second African manager after Egyptian Mahmoud El-Gohary to win the title, both as a player and coach.

He futher stated that it does not sadden him not to seeing his player lift the CAF Player Award but he sees Mikel, Yaya and Drogba as brothers and the fact that the Player Of T he Year Award stays in West Africa is a win-win situation.

The gaffer is expected to join up with the Super Eagles Team B today as they gear up for their opening game in the 2014 African Nations Championship against Mali.
